2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon each: soda, salt,
vanilla and cinnamon
1 stick margarine
4 eggs
1 cup each:
raisins, pecans, almonds, chopped dates, mashed
banana, unsweetened
applesauce and crushed
pineapple.
Put all ingredients in large mixing bowl. Beat well and pour into well-oiled Bundt pan. Bake 1 hour in 350 degrees oven.

1 - 2 1/2 pound fryer, cut up
4 teaspoons salad oil or fat
2 teaspoons Worchestershire sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon bottled thick meat sauce (like A-1)
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
Dash or two of Tabasco (to taste)
Wash fryer and dry slightly. Do not use wing tips, neck, gizzard or liver. Place chicken in large flat baking pan. Salt and pepper slightly. Heat oil in a skillet; add chicken and brown on all sides over high heat. Remove chicken to baking pan; mix all remaining ingredients together and pour over chicken. Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until chicken is tender; basting every 10 minutes with sauce in pan.
To serve, remove to platter and pour sauce from baking pan over it. This can be put in freezer bags and frozen 2-3 months.
