Rusk County Electric Co-op has a scholarship fund to assist its members' graduating high school seniors who desire to further their education. Scholarships are awarded to students based on several criteria: demonstrated civic responsibility, scholastic achievement, and financial need.

SCHOLARSHIPS
High School seniors and non-traditional students (those students attending private, parochial, or home school) are allowed to apply. The applicants immediate family must be an active member of RCEC. An active member is defined as a customer of RCEC electric service at their permanent residence as of January 1 of the year of the application. Dependents of RCEC directors are not eligible.
